This is probably the longest I\'ve spent working on a dance only video. Maybe even any video lol. What was the issue you ask? It\'s not the camera motion lol that\'s all I\'ll say for now scroll further for the sob story but you could guess what took so long lolI\'ve seen this motion here a while ago and I liked most of the song. Didn\'t really have a strong impression of the choreo until I\'ve had a look at the videos from others here recently or maybe I have for a while ago. Either way the choreo\'s pretty good most of the song too. Didn\'t know who to use the motion for it was between her and Ro-Chan but when I loaded the motion to Arashio I was immediately captivated by her charm for some reason. Added a few smiles to a few shots and my god they were amazing. Got kinda carried away making the camera as well lol she\'s so beautiful with this motion. This was the first video of her from me that\'s with a motion longer than 2 minutes and the first one that isn\'t cutesy(?, very subjective). Now all 3 of the Asashio class girls have at least 3 videos from me yay :D. All 3 of them are charming in different ways I guess lolNow here\'s the sob story... originally I wanted to have this up in late May but then I took slightly too much time on the camera (not significantly longer tbh it was still done in May). The clipping with this motion is... insane and that\'s putting it nicely. I knew it\'s not gonna be easy when I first loaded the motion up and had a look at it but my god when I actually start to count I know I was in a very bad situation. There are over 150 clipping segments. Some weren\'t bad some were... okish and some were just crazy. Plenty of 100 keyframes segments some even doubled. I thought I could get it done in a week boy was I wrong lol I needed double the time. I was a bit startled at the start which might have slowed the fixing progress down a bit.When I tallied up the clipping parts and put them into segments I knew it\'s a tall mountain. My guess was that 60% of the motion had clipping instances and I was very close (62.3%). It\'s kinda like I\'m animating from scratch (ok nowhere near as bad because then keeping it smooth is the hardest thing but it\'s very very time-consuming for sure). But when I see the fixed parts and play them in preview it\'s so satisfying that I kept going on and the end product was so satisfying. I guess the gratification at the end is what makes clipping fixing essential lol.I may have slapped too many spicy angles (there isn\'t such a thing as too much I think...?) but a lot of the choreo really calls for that. Personally I think it\'s ok. Played with the interpolation curves a bit as well starting to understand how it works for the camera more.Sorry for the delay would\'ve loved to have it done by May but the clipping is too bad that if I don\'t fix it it\'s better off for me to not upload the video (yes it\'s that bad maybe a model issue but nonetheless).
