Hi, I'm making this. It needs a lot of work but it is starting to look okay. Here are some cool features/things I have made so far. Have a look!
It is a software/engine made completely from scratch that I envision replacing the functionality of both pmx editor and mmd combined. It is written in c++, uses bullet physics multithreaded, and uses vulkan as the rendering api. It has most of the rudimentary features of ray already built in; It is still missing quite a few, but I'm making slow, steady, progress. The idea is seamless transition between model editing and animation/posing, no pauses or project reloads just to make a small change to your model. As well, the luxuries of a Physically Based Renderer - right out of the box - and the ability to change per-material PBR maps with color correct and tonemapping on a per-material basis.
